After one month in the new house, we are finally back to normal. Boarding, fostering, entertaining, etc.
Dana seems to have settled in well

We still have Urban. He is doing great and still waiting for his forever home.
My parents and Jason's parents came to visit last weekend. Both at the same time! It turned out well and I think a good time was had by all. but we did get some outdoor speakers out of the visit! Now we can jam while watching the hounds play!
One night, we had everyone enjoying Rock Band. Jason's dad was singing, my mom was playing bass, Scott (Beau and Belle's owner) was on lead guitar and Jason was on drums. It was pretty funny.
We are also watching Callie Kay for the week. She looks like a 'plumper' version of Cali. Can you tell the difference?

I dont' know why I loved this shot, it was a poor representation of my photography pseudo-skills, but I found it funny.

And miss Roo-Roo pants dances around outside with her 'prize' octopus. All is good in Dana land!
I will eventually try to get some good 'cooking' shots in Jason's new kitchen and maybe even some shots of his REAL office after we paint it.
And, there is a new blog for everyone's viewing pleasure. Smokey's (I have boarded him many times) mom has started a blog and I have linked it to mine! Enjoy!
Urban is still with us. He is a good boy and very easy. His nose is as fixed as it is going to get. it still has a small slit in it, the vet tried twice to fix it. But at least it looks better and whistles less. 
I just realized this was a Cali free blog, geez don't her see this! I feel sure next time there will be tons of Cali photos.

Besides our anxiety about where we might live, our fish were probably getting the shortest end of the stick. this is how they spent 5 glorious days. 
But alas, on Monday at 7PM we finally closed on our new house. We spent the first night on an air mattress as the movers could not bring our storage unit until the next day. But the first morning of our house..was sweet victory! Jason surveys our back 40 while waiting for the movers. 
And I take a look at all the flowers in bloom
Kristen and gyeong graciously bring our kids back to us after we had a chance to unpack a little. Dana needed her bowl and bed in a spot to prevent meltdowns!
The squirrels are a new nuisance that the previous treeless yard lacked!
As well as our neighbor..meet Frick..it might be Frack..i can't tell you.

and without fail, we get a foster pretty much immediately after moving. Par for course, i would say! We had him before, meet Skiddy Urban. he is a very good boy.
Finally, after about 3 weeks, we are finally able to cook our first meal in the new house. And I might add that this is my view as I type minus the food :-)
And of course..we throw a small party. This is only foreshadowing the massive one to come. But it was July 4th!
