Remember to run

Henry reminds everyone to remember to run and play.  These were taken a few months ago (and previously posted) but Henry was diagnosed with a bone tumor on Monday in his left front leg.  It is either osteosarcoma or metastisized hemangiosarcoma.  So he can no longer run..nor does he really want too.  We are managing his pain (successfully right now) with Tramadol and Rimadyl.  It has been a tough couple of weeks.  Hug your hounds.

A very good reminder. I am so sorry to hear of this diagnosis. I love that sweet old guy. My heart is breaking for you all. Seems like our old guys are having a tough time of it right now.

I'm so sorry to hear Henry has a tumor. He is such a sweet boy. I hope the medicine continues to help the pain. Give him a hug and scratch from me.

i will never understand how something like this can happen to our beloved hounds. nor will i understand how they can run as if nothing is wrong despite the pain they must be in.

my thoughts are with you.

I'm so sorry, Trina :( He's quite the handsome man, and it's good that he's got such a loving family to take care of him.
